The Hamburg based company group has been nominated for the German Sustainability Award 2023. In the category ‘Transformation Field Resources’, the SUND Group reached a position in the Top 21 straight off with its activities for more sustainability.
The jury was convinced by the SUND approach to recycling, the sustainable planning and equipping of the new company building in Viktoria Park, a commercial estate in Hamburg, and particularly by the innovative use in the manufacture of DEISS products of foils recovered from residual waste.
The German Sustainability Award is presented by the German Sustainability Award Foundation in co-operation with the Federal German Government, municipal umbrella organisations, business associations, civil society organisations and research institutes. Awards are presented to pioneers of sustainability in the business world. The nominees include enterprises of all sizes and sectors that assume responsibility and see Transformation as an economic opportunity.
